Jack Rozells

Doctoral researcher by day, world-builder by night. Jack studies how light and matter talk to each other at the edge of what's measurable, the physics of things you can't quite see. He came to games the same way he came to science: convinced that the most interesting problems live at the boundary between disciplines.

Once wrote a neural network before writing a game design document. The order felt about right.

Jake Tebbe

Co-Founder & Developer

By day, Jake is navigating medical school and working in clinical research, building on a background in biomedical engineering and healthcare software. By night, he channels that same love for complex systems into game development. Having spent time writing software at Epic and working across various labs and clinics, he co-founded Cascade Beach as a creative outlet to build games alongside his medical career. He handles the under-the-hood logic and technical design for the studio, bringing a unique real-world perspective to the systems we build.

Design and Development

Paints worlds first, mechanics second. Trained in traditional media before falling into shaders. Patron saint of soft horizons.

Owns more sketchbooks than shoes.
